BLACKFOX MEDIA LLC — PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: April 14, 2026
Last Updated: August 8, 2026
BlackFox Media LLC ("BlackFox," "we," "us") builds privacy-first software. This is our company-wide privacy policy. The short version: We do not spy on you. We do not collect your personal data. Almost everything our apps do happens on your device. The only exception is the nine titles that display Google AdMob advertising, described below.
Each application also has its own dedicated privacy page covering the specifics of that app (its data, permissions, storage, and SDKs). This master policy governs all of them and contains the full legal detail for every U.S. state and country listed below; the per-app pages link back here for that detail.

1. PRIVACY-FIRST PHILOSOPHY
====================================================================
-All applications operate on-device, with the sole exception of titles that use advertising which display ads through Google AdMob.
- No user accounts, no analytics pipelines, no behavioral tracking.
- Outbound network requests (where any exist) reach only publicly documented data sources. Your IP address is visible only to those upstream providers.
====================================================================
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
====================================================================
Across all applications, we do not collect:
Across all applications, we do not collect:
- Identifying information (name, email, phone, address)
- Location data (GPS, geofence transitions) — except on-device use described on app pages
- Communications (contacts, calls, SMS, messages)
- Sensor data (microphone or camera content)
- Your device files or media
- Behavioral analytics or telemetry
- Biometric identifiers
- Persistent device/hardware identifiers — except the advertising identifier used by Google AdMob in the ad-supported titles
====================================================================
3. ADVERTISING — GOOGLE ADMOB (AD-SUPPORTED TITLES ONLY)
====================================================================
- Anatomy Arena
- Bring It Down: USA
- Chain Reaction: Chem 100
- GED Ready
- Melee Medic: City Rescue
- Message Maverick
- Microbiology Arena
- Physiology Arena
- TNCC Trauma Sim
These titles display ads through Google AdMob. In those apps, AdMob collects:
- Advertising identifier — the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android; on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), accessed only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
- IP address and approximate geolocation derived from IP
- Device information (model, OS, screen size, language) and ad interaction data
With your permission, this data is used to serve personalized ads — this is "tracking" as Apple defines it (linking data collected from the app with third-party data for advertising purposes). If you decline, ads are non-personalized and the advertising identifier is not used.
Your choices:
- iOS: the app asks your permission on first launch via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your choice at any time in Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking.
- Android: Settings -> Privacy -> Ads -> Delete advertising ID, or opt out of Ads Personalization.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a Google consent form is shown before any ads are served, and each ad-supported app includes an "Ad privacy" option to review or change your consent at any time.
- Google-wide controls: https://adssettings.google.com
What BlackFox receives: aggregate, non-personally-identifiable advertising reports only (impressions, clicks, revenue by country).
Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
All other BlackFox apps contain no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
====================================================================
4. APP STORE DISTRIBUTION
====================================================================
GOOGLE PLAY (ANDROID)
Google may collect information during download, installation, and purchase under Google's own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). BlackFox receives only aggregate statistics - installs, crashes, country breakdowns - via the Google Play Developer Console.
APPLE APP STORE (iOS / iPadOS)
Apple may collect information during download, installation, and purchase under Apple's own Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Purchases are made with your Apple Account; BlackFox never sees your payment details, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. BlackFox receives only aggregate, non-identifying reports through App Store Connect - impressions, downloads, sales, crashes, and retention - and only from users who have chosen to share analytics with developers in their device settings.
Three Apple-specific privacy mechanisms apply to our iOS titles:
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT). Our non-advertising apps do not track you and never present the ATT prompt. The ad-supported titles present the ATT prompt on first launch, before the Google Mobile Ads SDK is initialized. If you allow, AdMob may use the IDFA for personalized advertising; if you decline, ads are non-personalized and every feature of the app remains available.
- App Privacy "nutrition label". Each app's App Store listing carries a privacy label. For our non-advertising apps it declares Data Not Collected. For the ad-supported titles it declares the data Google AdMob collects: Identifiers (Device ID), Usage Data (Advertising Data, Product Interaction), Diagnostics, and Coarse Location, which are used for Third-Party Advertising. The Device ID and Advertising Data are declared as "used to track you" because, with your ATT permission, they support personalized advertising; none of this data is linked to your identity by BlackFox.
- Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy). Every app ships the privacy manifest Apple has required since May 2024, declaring its tracking status, any collected data types, and the reason codes for each required-reason API it uses.
We do not use Sign in with Apple or any other social or federated login, because our apps have no accounts.
DIRECT DISTRIBUTION
Snitch (Windows) and Snitch for Mac are distributed as direct downloads from BlackFox rather than through an app store. No store intermediary is involved, and BlackFox receives no download analytics for them beyond ordinary web server logs.
====================================================================
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
====================================================================
Our applications are not directed to children under 13 (16 in some jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect information from children. WatchTower, CellGuard, and Snitch are adult tools. The clinical titles (MCI TriageReady, StrokeReady, CodeReady, TNCC Trauma Sim, InfusionReady, Anesthesia Ready, Patient Advocate Pro) are intended for licensed healthcare professionals and adults. Tactical Med Ready and Tactical Ops Ready are educational study tools intended for trained medical, military, law-enforcement, and public-safety personnel and students in those fields, and for adults only. The games are rated for a general audience; guardians should configure Google AdMob family settings. Contact support@blackfox-media.com with any concern; we hold no user data to delete on the BlackFox side.
====================================================================
6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS — GENERAL
====================================================================
Because no user profile exists on BlackFox servers, most data-protection rights are honored inherently. You can at any time: uninstall the app; clear app storage in your device settings; revoke individual permissions; and disable personalized advertising in your device settings. For Google AdMob data in the ad-supported titles, direct requests to Google. To exercise rights, email support@blackfox-media.com (typical response: 45 days).
====================================================================
7. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)
====================================================================
BlackFox collects no personal information directly. In the ad-supported titles, Google AdMob may collect identifiers (IP address, advertising ID), internet activity (ad impressions/clicks), approximate geolocation from IP, and advertising-audience inferences. BlackFox does not "sell" or "share" personal information because it holds none; AdMob's ad personalization may constitute "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising" under CPRA. Opt out at https://adssettings.google.com or in device settings (Privacy -> Ads -> Opt out of Ads Personalization). On iOS, declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt (or disabling it in Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking) opts you out of cross-context behavioral advertising in these titles. California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, limit sensitive-information use, use an authorized agent, and non-discrimination. BlackFox offers no financial incentives for personal information.
====================================================================
8. OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
====================================================================
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Tennessee, Iowa, Indiana, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland, Kentucky, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and Nebraska have core rights to access, deletion, portability, and opt-out. Our substantive response is empty because BlackFox holds no data.
8.1 Illinois BIPA: we collect no biometric identifiers. CellGuard detects microphone/ camera access by other apps but never samples or stores content.
8.2 Washington My Health My Data Act: we collect no consumer health data. The clinical titles (MCI TriageReady, StrokeReady, CodeReady, InfusionReady, Anesthesia Ready, TNCC Trauma Sim, Patient Advocate Pro) display educational content; any inputs are not associated with an identified individual, not transmitted off-device, and not retained between sessions.
====================================================================
9. EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA, UNITED KINGDOM, AND SWITZERLAND (GDPR)
====================================================================
BlackFox Media LLC is the data controller. No DPO is appointed given the limited scope. Legal basis: user consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for the non-ad apps; for ad-supported games, Google AdMob relies on its own legal basis and BlackFox's aggregate reporting relies on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Data-subject rights: access (15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), portability (20), objection (21), no automated decision-making (22), and withdrawal of consent (7(3)). Email support@blackfox-media.com (our reply typically confirms no data exists). Complaints: EU member-state authority (https://edpb.europa.eu), UK ICO (https://ico.org.uk), Switzerland FDPIC (https://www.edoeb.admin.ch). On-device processing involves no international transfer; AdMob transfers occur under Google's SCCs. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, ad-supported titles obtain consent through Google's certified consent management platform (Google User Messaging Platform) before any advertising data is processed. Consent choices can be reviewed or withdrawn at any time via the "Ad privacy" option inside each ad-supported app.
====================================================================
10. CANADA (PIPEDA / QUEBEC LAW 25)
====================================================================
We adhere to the ten Fair Information Principles. You may request access, challenge accuracy, withdraw consent, and (Québec) receive portable data. Complaints: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (https://www.priv.gc.ca); Québec Commission d'accès à l'information (https://www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).
====================================================================
11. BRAZIL (LGPD)
====================================================================
Brazilian residents have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, anonymization, blocking, and information about data-sharing. Complaints: ANPD (https://www.gov.br/anpd).
====================================================================
12. AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, AND OTHER JURISDICTIONS
====================================================================
We honor rights equivalently under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (complaints: OAIC, https://www.oaic.gov.au) and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (complaints: OPC, https://www.privacy.org.nz). Elsewhere, we respect applicable local data-protection law.
====================================================================
13. SECURITY
====================================================================
Your device is the primary security boundary. We rely on the platform's permission and sandboxing model, full-disk encryption, and your device-security practices. On-device sensitive data is stored in the app's private directory, inaccessible to other apps. On rooted/jailbroken devices, standard sandboxing guarantees may not apply.
====================================================================
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
====================================================================
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our applications, data-source integrations, or the law. Material changes are reflected in the Last Updated date and noted in release notes and the in-app Read Me/About screen. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
====================================================================
15. GOVERNING LAW AND FORUM
====================================================================
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict- of-law provisions. Disputes will be brought exclusively in Texas state or federal courts, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law requires otherwise.
