BlackFox Media LLC builds offline-first educational, reference and clinical decision-support applications. This policy explains what our applications and this website do with information. The short answer is that they collect none.
Each application also has its own dedicated privacy page covering the specifics of that app (its data, permissions, storage, and SDKs). 1. PRIVACY-FIRST PHILOSOPHY

We designed these applications so that there is nothing to protect. There are
no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no trackers. Your
work stays on your device.
We operate no server that receives your data. We could not produce a record of
your activity if we were asked for one, because no such record exists.

2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- We do not collect your location. Where an application uses location it is
processed on your device and is never transmitted to us.
- We do not collect your scores, answers, notes, saved entries or progress.
- We do not collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers or IP-derived
profiles.
- We do not use cookies, pixels, beacons or fingerprinting in our applications.
- We do not build profiles and do not perform automated decision-making.
- We do not sell, rent, share or disclose personal information, because we hold
none.
WHAT YOUR DEVICE STORES
Our applications save your progress locally so they remain useful between
sessions. Depending on the application this may include quiz scores and answer
history, lesson or scenario progress, readiness statistics, custom entries you
create, and settings such as sound and units.
This is written to the application's private storage on your device. It is not
transmitted anywhere. It is included in a device backup only if you have
enabled that in your own operating-system settings, and it is removed when you
clear the application's data or uninstall it.

3. ADVERTISING

BlackFox Media applications contain no advertising.
- No application contains an advertising SDK, and none displays ads of any
kind.
- No application requests the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) or the Apple
Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
- No application presents the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, because
there is nothing to track.
- We do not participate in cross-context behavioral advertising.
Earlier versions of this policy described Google AdMob, advertising
identifiers and personalized-advertising consent. Advertising has since been
removed from every BlackFox Media application and those provisions no longer
apply.

4. APP STORE DISTRIBUTION
========================================================================
Our applications are distributed through the platform stores. Those stores are
independent controllers of the information they collect, under their own
privacy policies, not ours.
GOOGLE PLAY (ANDROID)
Google Play handles download, purchase and update. We receive aggregate
developer statistics through the Google Play Console - install counts, country
totals, crash summaries, ratings and similar. These are statistical and do not
identify you.
APPLE APP STORE (iOS / iPadOS)
The App Store handles download, purchase and update. We receive aggregate
developer statistics through App Store Connect. On Apple platforms this
information reaches us only from users who have chosen to share analytics with
developers in their own device settings.
DIRECT DISTRIBUTION
Where an application or tool is offered as a direct download from our website,
our hosting provider records ordinary web-server information such as IP
address, browser type and pages requested. This is standard for any website and
is used to operate and secure it.
PAYMENTS
Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never
see or receive your payment details.

5. INTERNET ACCESS AND OFFLINE OPERATION

Most of our applications operate entirely offline and make no network requests.
Their content ships inside the application.
A small number connect to the internet for one specific, stated function:
- Watch Tower Pro streams background map tiles so the map can be drawn. The
camera database ships inside the application and is never queried over the
network. Proximity alerts are handled on-device by the operating system's own
geofencing service; the application never receives raw background location
and never transmits any location.
- Backtrail communicates with mesh radio hardware you pair with it and may
retrieve map data for offline use.
Where an application connects, it sends only what that function requires. It
does not transmit your identity, your usage or your stored progress. An
application that declares an internet permission does not necessarily use it;
several declare it only because of the framework they are built on.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our applications are professional, educational and reference tools intended for
adults, and several carry mature ratings because of clinical or tactical
subject matter. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not
knowingly collect information from children. In practice we do not knowingly
collect information from anyone, because the applications collect none.

7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS - GENERAL

Where the law gives you rights over your personal information - access,
correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, and freedom from
discrimination for exercising them - we honor them.
We can do so immediately, because we hold nothing. There is no record of you
for us to produce, correct or erase. The information our applications create
lives on your device and is under your control: view it in the application,
reset it from the application's own settings where offered, or remove all of it
by clearing the application's data or uninstalling it.

8. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of
the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive
personal information.
BlackFox Media LLC does not sell personal information and does not share it for
cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the
California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We collect no personal
information and no sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to opt
out of and nothing to limit. We have not sold or shared personal information in
the preceding twelve months.

9. OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

9.1 Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws - including Virginia,
Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others as they take
effect - have rights to access, correct, delete and port personal information,
and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We conduct
none of those activities and hold no personal information to which these rights
would attach.
9.2 We do not process sensitive data, do not engage in targeted advertising,
and do not profile individuals in furtherance of decisions producing legal or
similarly significant effects. No data protection assessment is triggered by
our processing, because there is none.

10. EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA, UNITED KINGDOM, AND SWITZERLAND (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the GDPR and equivalent laws give
you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and
objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
BlackFox Media LLC does not process personal data through its applications. We
are therefore not a controller of any personal data concerning you arising from
their use. No consent is sought because no processing takes place, and because
no personal data leaves your device there is no international transfer of your
personal data by us.

11. CANADA (PIPEDA / QUEBEC LAW 25)

We collect no personal information from Canadian users and therefore seek no
consent, maintain no personal information inventory, and carry out no transfer
of personal information outside Canada. Quebec Law 25 rights of access,
rectification and de-indexing are honored; there is no information to which
they would apply.

12. BRAZIL (LGPD)

We process no personal data of Brazilian users through our applications. LGPD
rights of confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability and
deletion are honored; there is no data to which they would apply.

13. AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, AND OTHER JURISDICTIONS

The Australian Privacy Principles, the New Zealand Privacy Act and comparable
regimes elsewhere give rights of access and correction and impose obligations
on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. We collect none,
use none and disclose none.

14. SECURITY

The strongest protection we can offer is not holding your information.
Information that is never collected cannot be breached, leaked, subpoenaed or
sold.
Information stored on your device is protected by your device's own security
controls. Applications are signed and distributed through the platform stores,
which verify package integrity.
Because we hold no personal information, no data breach of BlackFox Media LLC
could expose your personal information.

15. THIS WEBSITE

Blackfox-media.com is an informational site. It does not require an account and
does not ask you for personal information.
Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server information as described in
section 4. Where a cookie or consent banner is presented by the hosting
platform, your choice is respected. BlackFox Media LLC does not operate its own
analytics on this site and does not use site visits for advertising.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND FORUM

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States,
without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive forum for disputes
arising from it is the state and federal courts located in Nueces County,
Texas, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in
your own jurisdiction.
